Hi friends,

There are a couple common running injuries that people often come to me and ask me how to fix.  2 of the most common are plantar fasciitis and shin splints.  Once the injuries are present they will need to heal and I have found an amazing therapy for them.  KINESIO TAPE.  This tape has personally helped me work through both injuries while I was learning how to correct my running form.  You can buy it on amazon.com.  Always buy the black tape its the most water proof.  Here is a link to tape your foot, and at the bottom there are more links to other videos that will help as well....

Heritage Park workout:

10 rounds:

5 man makers, run up hill 10 burpees, repeat 10x

Tabata Plank, squats, step ups, sit ups (bicycles between)

Finish with run

Virginia Crowe ~ New Years Goals... Are you on track?

I set some very specific goals this year.  Did you?  Mine have some very specific dates and some very scary realities for me.  I wanted to find things that would benefit me in many ways...Most of my goals are around fitness family and fun.  My fitness goals in the past have always been specific, but not that scary.  This year I am making a very scary goal... I am going to get on stage for my first bikini competition.  the comp is June 9.  It is an NPC show which is natural body building.  Yes I will be wearing a bikini and heels and it is SO far out of my comfort zone, but that is why I am doing it.  I met an awesome man named JEM WELSH who works with women specifically to get to this goal, but what I love about him is that he is a NATURAL FOODS guy.  I believe that I will be in the best shape of my life and the healthiest INSIDE that I have ever been when I walk on that stage.  I have been struggling for years with losing body fat over my abs and thighs, even with as active as I am.  Food plays a huge role in how we look....and through Paleo and giving up my CONTROL to Jem Welsh Nutrition, I am seeing HUGE RESULTS already.  Bring on the competition!
